How random are these passwords?
They use your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) with unbiased selection.
How long should a password be?
At least 12–16 characters. Longer is better, especially for email, banking and password-manager master passwords.
Should I reuse a strong password?
No. Use a unique password for every account and store them in a password manager.
Are my files or text uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you enter or open is sent to our servers or stored by us.
