What happens to transparent areas in JPG?
JPG does not support transparency, so transparent areas are filled with the background color you choose.
Can I convert HEIC photos from my iPhone?
Only if your browser can open HEIC files. Safari usually can; other browsers may not. On iPhone you can also set the camera to “Most Compatible” to save JPGs.
Are my files or text uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you enter or open is sent to our servers or stored by us.
